ASSESSMENT AND DIAGNOSIS

Assessment and diagnosis unit assess the child and provide proper diagnosis using different psychological testing tools. Keeping in mind the objectives; ‘changing the lives of children and families with special needs’; we provide early intervention services to ensure maximum progress of the children. Ultimate aim is to provide a lifeline to many children and families who could be able to live safe, independent and qualitative life.

COUNSELING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY

Under FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM, we provide SCHOOL FOR PARENTS session. We conduct parents training program regarding care of student and techniques to be used for children at home.

INDIVIDUAL CARE UNIT

Children with multiple disabilities and severe communication problems want to convey but very hard to get messages across. Individual attention can help the child to communicate and express their needs through different devices like meaningful symbol card.

DAY CARE UNIT

Day care unit specializes in children who have intellectual impairment, profound and multiple learning difficulties, all of whom have significant communication difficulties. Specialize work helps children to develop functional academic skills, communication skills, and over all development of the child through programs such as theme based curriculum.

PHYSIO THERAPY

In this unit, therapist, teacher and support assistant plays their role as specialist knowledge of exercise and make sure to develop best of the best abilities. To achieve this ultimate goal, we have wide range of perceptual motor devices and other equipments for exercises.

PRE VOCATIONAL / VOCATIONAL TRAINING

The employability centre initiates to train students within the accessible aspects of vocation. This includes tasks such as book arrangement, administration, reception duties, catering and general hospitalities, file making , Corrugated box making etc.

Services includes social, recreational, physiotherapy and training activities and further employment opportunity to develop their independence through a combination of education and various therapies.

THE JOURNEY HAS BEGUN.....................................................

I wish to brief in short the TRUST progress. The Land acquired by the TRUST was an agricultural land. It was by law necessary to get it non agricultural from the concern authority. We get the permission in APRIL 2008. Then after in JUNE 2008 we obtained construction permission from local panchayat authority. By the time the TRUST get registration with income tax department for 12A and 80G certificates for the DONORS to get IT EXEMPTION.

IN AUGUST 2008 THE managing Trustee, Trustees and the well wishers to gather performed BHUMIPUJA on the TRUST site. The construction of the FIRST phase where compound wall with watchman cabin & huge gate is completed. Now the construction of the ADM BUILDING AND THE SCHOOL building which is togather is 14000 sq. ft. is in force.

The TRUST has already started A DAY CARE CENTER in mental retardation at A 103 saishradha apartment, Tithal road, VALSAD.The idea of the Trustees behind is to make a base ready so on completion of the SCHOOL building we can shift in a new premises.
